Top edges gilt, uncut edges, unopened leaves. Housed in the publisher’s scarce slipcase, solid seams, silk ribbon still included. Touch of wear to printed label on spine of Volume I and IV, all free of notable internal wear.
Limitation reads: “The First Edition of Abraham Lincoln: The War Years is limited to 525 copies on all rag paper, numbered and signed by the author, of which 500 are for sale. This is number 49.”
