Thomas Mann (1875-1955) was a German novelist and essayist known for his exploration of intellectual and moral dilemmas, which earned him the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1929. This book is part of a four-part novel series retelling the biblical story of Joseph from the Book of Genesis. Originally published between 1933 and 1943, the series includes: The Stories of Jacob, Young Joseph, Joseph in Egypt, and Joseph the Provider.
