Silly Symphonies were a series of 75 animated musical shorts produced by Walt Disney Studios from 1929 to 1939. This series was one of the first to utilize Technicolor and the multiplane camera, and introduced the character of Donald Duck in “The Wise Little Hen” in 1934. Seven Silly Symphony shorts won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
