Comments: This book was published by democratic presidential candidate Franklin D. Roosevelt on the day that Douglas MacArthur removed the Bonus Marchers from Washington DC. Reprints of the articles from this scarce book were printed in Liberty Magazine, The American Magazine and The Country Home. Provenance: Sotheby’s The Library of Frederick B. Adams Jr., sold in 2001. Other copies from the estates of Roosevelt family members have appeared at auction over the years, but overall a scarce publication.
