Description
Octavo, [12 Volumes, Plus Report]. Tan paperback, titles printed on spine and front panel. Stored in archival plastic, occasional pencil marks. Volume IX contains some wear to spine. Complete with twelve numbered volumes (I-XII) and Final Report from the Select Committee. A scarce complete set of this controversial report.
Comments: The United States House Select Committee on Assassinations was established in 1976 to investigate the assassinations of Martin Luther King and President John F. Kennedy. In a controversial opinion, the committee concluded that President Kennedy was likely assassinated as part of a conspiracy, which directly contradicts the Warren Commission Report of 1964. Future studies would find “no persuasive evidence” of a conspiracy to assassinate the president.
