Stated “First Edition” on copyright page with “I-P” code denoting a first printing. Light toning to cloth and wear along bottom edge. In publishers first edition dust jacket, $10.00 retail price on front flap, archival tape repair to closed tear on back side of jacket along top edge, otherwise a fine first state jacket. Inscribed by Ted Sorensen to humorist and syndicated columnist George Dixon: “To George Dixon, Whose contribution to making these years more tolerable were greatly enjoyed by JFK and by us all. Ted Sorensen.”
