Limited edition of Mr. President by William Hillman, inscribed by President Harry Truman.
Quarto, 253pp, blue leather covers, gilt type on spine and front cover piece. Signed limited edition of 250, this being number 116. First inscription by President Truman on frontispiece portrait, stating: “Kindest regards, Harry Truman.” Additional personalized inscription which reads: “To Maria Sermolino, From: The President. August 13th, 1952, White House.” Note card used by President Truman during signing to keep track of inscriptions is still with the book. Maria Sermolino is the younger sister of Angela Sermolino, the wife of the author, William Hillman.
