Solid text block, some wear to corners and bottom of spine, fading along front joint, small stains on front and back covers, previous owner’s name embossed on front free endpaper, a very good example. First printing with “bite” in the place of “bight” on page 281. In publisher’s second state dust jacket, $6.95 retail price on front flap, short closed tears to top of jacket. Small dampstains to verso, slightly visible through rear panel. A well-presenting, very good example.
