Both covers reinforced, cracks at spine, wear to edges and spine. Interiors are clean and in near fine condition. Previous owners inscription on front end paper. Marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. Profusely illustrated with B&W photographs, with occasional color photographs. This deluxe edition was offered for sale to the public for $15 per book.
Comments: Hosted in Los Angeles during the Great Depression of the 1930s, the 10th Olympiad had trouble with athletes being unable to attend due to their financial situation. The Los Angeles Coliseum was built for use during this Olympics and still stands today.
