Black endpapers, both hinges starting but stable, solid text block. Frontispiece map printed in three colors. Publisher’s 4-page advertisements at rear, with “5G-783” date code.
Includes the following points: “Dean Man’s Chest” not capitalized on page 2 and 7; “v” in vain is broken on page 40 (last line); the “7” is missing from the pagination on page 127; period dropped from page 178, line 20, following “opportunity;” “worse” for “worst” on page 197 (line 3).
Housed in a custom red chemise, quarter red morocco, decorative raised bands, light wear to boards.
