The first English edition, published by John Murray in London. Solid text block, light wear to hinges and rubbing to corners. Faint foxing along edges of leaves. A bright, near fine example. BAL State B with advertisement imprint, no priority established. Includes additional plates and illustrations affixed to blank leaves throughout text.
