Small split along bottom edge, still sound. Complete with eight plates by Alexander King.

The Emperor Jones is a tragic play by Eugene O’Neill. It premiered November 1, 1920 in the Provincetown Playhouse in New York City. The play was immediately successful, with 204 performances followed by a two-year US tour. Eugene O’Neill (1888-1953) was a renowned American playwright who received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1936, four Pulitzer Prizes for Drama, and the Tony Award for Best Play in 1957 for Long Day’s Journey into Night.
