Peter G. Thomson (1851-1931) was a Cincinnati bookseller, publisher, bibliographer and industrialist. His career in book selling and extensive travels throughout the eastern United States allowed him to compile this bibliography on Ohio. After a storied career as a Cincinnati bookseller, he founded The Champion Coated Paper Company in 1892, which brought him great financial success. The Peter G. Thomson House, known as Laurel Court, once his permanent residence, was added to the National Register of Historic Places after his death.
