Octavo, [ten volumes]. Bound in the publisher’s green cloth, title printed on label affixed to spine. Top edge gilt, uncut edges. Frontispiece portrait opposite title page in each volume. Notable wear to cloth spine of volume one, slight discoloration versus the other volumes. All volumes appear unread. In the publisher’s scarce paper dust jackets, matching label on spine, all with sunning to the spines, closed tear to back of volume VII. Uneven toning to Volume I, likely kept separate from other volumes.
From a limited edition of 400 copies, signed during the Second Term of President Woodrow Wilson, this being number 111 of 400.
Originally published in 1902 when Woodrow Wilson was President of Princeton University, this expanded “Documentary Edition” was published in 1918.
