Octavo, [ten volumes]. Bound in the publisher’s green cloth, title printed on label affixed to spine. Top edge gilt, uncut edges. Frontispiece portrait opposite title page in each volume. Notable sunning to cloth spine of each volume, uneven sunning across the set. All volumes appear unread. Front hinge starting in four volumes, but text block remains strong. Occasional toning and light foxing to preliminary leaves.
From a limited edition of 400 copies, signed during the Second Term of President Woodrow Wilson, this being number 212 of 400.

Originally published in 1902 when Woodrow Wilson was President of Princeton University, this expanded “Documentary Edition” was published in 1918.
