Solid text block, light sunning to spine, near fine condition. Housed in a matching red morocco slipcase with marbled paper interior, similarly sunned.

Following the success of her debut novel, A Woman of Substance (1979), Bradford wrote 40 best-selling novels, often about young women advancing in the world through hard work.
