Admiral of the Fleet, Roger Keyes, (1872-1945) was a British naval officer, member of the House of Commons and the first Director of Combined Operations during World War II. While in the House of Commons, he played a pivotal role in the Norway Debate, which resulted in a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain and rise of Winston Churchill.
