From a limited edition of 1000 copies signed by Edward VIII, this is number 100. A scarce signed copy from the former British monarch.

    This limited edition of 1000 copies was signed by Edward VIII [i.e. Edward Prince of Wales] on the first 100 copies. The remaining 900 were signed by members of the Royal National Life-Boat Institution. The author of this book, Alec John Dawson, was a major during World War I and was awarded the MBE for his work as a military propagandist. As an author, Dawson’s most noteworthy work was the animal adventure story Finn the Wolfhouse, published in 1908.
