Includes a signed letter from Allwood to Simpson, wishing him a happy New Year and recognizing that he has “done so much for the Carnation.”
George Simpson worked as the King’s head gardener at Windsor Castle throughout the 1940s and 50s. Simpson was well respected in the field of gardening, serving as a judge in the Olympia Flower Show in 1950.
