Professionally reinforced hinges with cloth. Original pigskin leather spine laid-in. Brass anchor and chain clasps along fore-edge of boards. Uncut edges. Frontispiece with Columbus coat of arms. Clean text throughout. An attractive example.

    The author of this work, Benjamin Franklin Stevens (1833 – 1902) was a noted bibliographer and a US dispatch agent in London. A facsimile of this book was published in Mexico in 1992.
