Octavo [three volumes]. All cloth, with title stamped on spine. All state “first edition” on copyright page. All with light foxing on top edge of text block, very good examples. Gentle Ben’s spine has a touch more wear and foxing along top edge. In publisher’s dust jackets, with retail prices listed on front flaps, faint sunning on the spines, a touch of toning on versos, vibrant illustrations on panels, all near fine examples. Kavik the Wolf Dog’s dust jacket with a touch more foxing and a bit of shelf wear. All signed by Morey and feature a personal inscription to a George Sanders. Sanders’ bookplate is present in the copy of Gentle Ben.
