Description
Octavo, xv, 430pp. Black cloth, title in silver on spine. Stated “First Edition: April, 2015” with number line beginning at “2” on copyright page. In publishers dust jacket, $32.00 on front flap, near fine with faint shelf wear on front panel. Sticker noting provenance on front free endpaper. Inscribed by Secretary Henry M. Paulson on title page, with the following inscription: “Mark, Best Wishes. Hank Paulson. 11/4/15.” An excellent signed copy from one of our countries most consequential Secretaries of the Treasury.
Comments: Hank Paulson served as the 74th Secretary of the Treasury during the administration of President George W. Bush, from 2006 until the election of President Barack Obama in 2009. His tenure as secretary was eclipsed by the 2008 Financial Crisis, which he helped to mitigate by shepherding the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) through congress and strategically purchasing “toxic financial assets.” He is currently an author, lecturer and professor at the University of Chicago.
