Signed first edition of Georgia Boy by Erskine Caldwell.
Octavo, , 239pp. Orange cloth, title in silver on spine. Stated “first edition” on copyright page. Solid text block, a touch of wear along edges, small crease on page 1, a near fine example. In publisher’s dust jacket, $2.00 retail price on front flap, loss along top edge, sunning on spine, some shelf wear (most notably on back panel), a very good example. This copy is inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper, stating “For Jed Harris who could pass for a Georgia Boy himself, Erskine Caldwell. May 6, 1943.”
