In the publisher’s dust jacket, $3.00 retail price, soiled spine and rear panel, a few chips to corners. Small loss to top edge of front panel, closed tear to center of spine. Despite flaws, the jacket is solid and free from restoration. A very good example of James Baldwin’s second published novel; an early work exploring topics like internalized homophobia, bisexuality, and social isolation.
