Framed and matted, white wood frame with light green matte, measures 12″ x 13.5″. Not examined outside of frame. Unknown artist. Signed by President Harry Truman in black pen. Includes a condolence letter to the recipient of this piece, dated 1964, and signed by President Truman.
Provenance: From the private collection of Robert M. Moore. Mr. Moore worked for the Democratic National Committee, serving as Assistant to the Chairman, Mr. William M. Boyle. Mr. Moore was a lifelong acquaintance of Harry Truman, being raised in Missouri and a member of the Missouri Democratic delegation. He died unexpectedly in 1964.
