Blue buckram, title in gilt on spine, gilt presidential seal on front cover. Previous owners bookplate affixed to front free end paper. Issued without dust jackets. Faint toning to cloth on spine on all volumes, occasional wear to cloth. An exceptional set, with the previous owner storing them with archival covers and in ideal storage conditions. Comments: This first edition set presented the findings of the Warren Commission in their full detail, as required by the Executive Order signed by President Johnson. The members of the Warren Commission included illustrious figures such as Earl Warren, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Gerald R. Ford, then a US Representative from Michigan and Allen Dulles (Former director of the Central Intelligence Agency).
