Finely bound by Creuzevault of Paris, with bindery imprint on front flyleaf of both volumes. Stated “Dix-Septieme Edition,” or 17th Edition, on title page. Text fully printed in French. Solid text blocks, light rubbing to corners, faint toning to front and rear flyleaves. A near fine set. Features numerous illustrations of French table-settings and meals.
The title page (roughly) translates to “Classical Cuisine: Practical, Reasoned, and Demonstrative Studies of the French School.”
