Octavo, xiii, [2], 318pp. Full brown morocco. Title in gilt on spine, five raised bands with gilt decorations. Gilt border on covers with matching turn-ins. Marbled endpapers. Solid text block, faint rubbing to covers and joints. Light toning throughout text. Frontispiece has some small stains and previous owner’s name written in ink near top edge. Bookseller’s label affixed to rear pastedown endpaper. Complete with 14 in-text illustrations, a tinted lithographed frontispiece, and two lithographed plates of insects.
