Octavo, xii, 206pp. Original blue cloth, title in navy blue on front cover and spine. Illustration of Mary Poppins stamped on front cover. Top edge stained red, illustrated endpapers. With “Fifth Printing, December, 1934” listed on copyright page. Solid text block, some sunning to edges of covers and along spine, a near fine example. Previous owner’s bookplate on half-title, and previous bookseller’s label on rear endpaper. In the publisher’s dust jacket, $1.50 retail price on front flap, a few chips and short closed tears along edges. Lightly sunned spine, illustrations otherwise clear and vibrant. Complete with twenty-seven illustrations by Mary Shepard, including frontispiece.
