Small octavo, 231pp. Three-quarter brown morocco, marbled boards, gilt ruling on covers. Title in gilt on spine, five raised bands with gilt decorations. Top edge gilt. Marbled endpapers. “Bound by W. Roach Co. N.Y.” stamped on verso of front free endpaper. Solid text block, some wear to edges, corners, and joints. Previous owners’ bookplates affixed to front pastedown endpaper and front flyleaf. Complete with four maps, two fold-outs, near fine examples.
