Outdoor Pastimes of An American Hunter is a collection of short stories that recount Roosevelt’s hunting trips in Yellowstone Park and other destinations in the western United States. It is the only book published during his presidency, and the material written solely by Roosevelt. The work was issued with a tan paper dust jacket and a slipcase, with no known surviving examples. This signed limited edition was kept to 260 copies, the smallest limitation of the works from Theodore Roosevelt. Copies 6, 7, and 9 were held for the personal use of President Roosevelt.
