From the town of Peine, Germany in Lower Saxony. Oblong octavo album, bound at spine with string, green faux leather covers, decorations in gilt. Total of 170 black and white photographs, with a few missing and not included in the 170 count. Includes some of the following highlights: Adolf Hitler at a film by Bengt Berg titled Sehnsucht Nach Afrika (Desire for Africa); Nazi Party Militia Commander, Ernst Rohm, addressing a crowd; Goebbels conferring with military officers; young boys in military dress; flight operations and military exercises with aircraft; deployment of anti-aircraft artillery; personal family photographs. A unique album of photographs taken as German military powers were increasing, and Hitler was consolidating his power.
