    Octavo, [two volumes], vii, 432pp; 442pp. Three-quarter morocco, ornate trim stamped in blind on covers. Five raised bands on spines, title in gilt on red morocco label affixed to spine. Cloth boards, marbled edges, and marbled endpapers. Solid text blocks, small marks to covers of each volume, dust remnants to edges. Touch of wear to corners, a near fine set.

    Praeterita by John Ruskin is a notable Victorian critique of contemporary philosophy, architecture, and art.
