Senator Tom Cotton, a Republican representing Arkansas, was born on May 13, 1977, in Dardanelle, Arkansas. He graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School before serving in the United States Army from 2005 to 2009, with tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
