Octavo, [10], 431pp. Green cloth, title in gilt on spine and front cover. Caravel stamped in black on front cover. Top edge gilt, lightly worn. The first American edition was originally published in 1898 with the English edition following two months later. This volume was published the following year. Solid text block, light wear to tips, small marks to top edge of front cover. A near fine example. Complete with eight illustrations, including frontispiece.
