Octavo, xii, 109pp. Original purple cloth, title in gilt on spine and silver on front cover. Stated “Published September, 1902” on copyright page. Solid text block, bumped corners, light toning to top and bottom edges. A vibrant copy. Previous ownership inscription to front free endpaper. Complete with four plates, including frontispiece. Each affixed to green cardstock with captioned tissue guard. In the publisher’s first state dust jacket, $1.25 retail price on front panel and spine. Chipped corners, small loss to center of spine. Split to front hinge repaired with archival tape to verso.
