Stated “Published October, 1903” on copyright page, with no additional printings listed. Solid text block, touch of rubbing to edges and gilt illustration, sunned spine. Lacking the publisher’s dust jacket and slipcase.
Complete with 40 illustrations by Peter Newell, including a full color frontispiece protected with tissue guard.
The Hunting of the Snark was originally published in London in 1876 with nine illustrations by Henry Holiday.
