Octavo, viii, 143pp. Maroon hardcover, black cloth spine with title in gilt. Clear mylar dust jacket, with title printed in black. Charles L. Schultze served as the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors in the Carter Administration and Director of the OMB during the Johnson Administration. His inscription reads: “To Bob McNamara – who started it all – and whose intelligence, courage, and compassion left a mark which will never be erased. Gratefully, Charles Schultze.”
