Ken Sprague (1927-2004) was a British illustrator known for his powerful political cartoons, which often appeared in newspapers and magazines during the 20th century. His illustrations were characterized by their bold lines, sharp satire, and keen commentary on social and political issues.Originally from Devon, England, Alan and Maureen Grace relocated their bookbindery to Louisville, KY, with sponsorship from notable collector Armand Champa. Upon completing the rebinding of Champa’s extensive library, the couple moved to Jacksonville, FL to continue their bookbinding business until Alan passed away in 2011.
