Light rubbing to lower edge of spine, general toning to leaves throughout the text block, solid text block. In the publisher’s first state dust jacket, $3.00 on front flap, touch of wear to the tips of the spine, faint shelf wear to rear panel, a near fine example.

The Talented Mr. Ripley was nominated for the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best Novel in 1956. The book has been adapted into several films, including a film of the same name in 1999, starring Matt Damon, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
