Solid text block, a touch of foxing to endpapers, some wear to inner hinge of front and back boards. Sunning along spine, with very minimal staining on boards. A well-presenting, very good example. The Thirty-Nine Steps is widely considered Buchan’s most famous work. In 1935, Alfred Hitchcock adapted it into a film of the same name, which the British Film Institute ranked as the fourth best British film of the 20th century. This popular World War I spy novel will soon be adapted into a television series starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
