Comments: Edward R. Murrow was a journalist with CBS news. He began his career as a war correspondent during World War II, reporting from London. He would go on to be a pioneering journalist in radio and television news broadcasting, with many modern journalists considering him a model of integrity. He passed away at the age of 65 in 1965.
