Octavo, [three volumes]. Three-quarter red morocco, marbled paper-covered boards. Five raised bands, title in gilt on spines. Top edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Finely bound by Erbe, Crombie & Lamothe, with bindery imprint on verso of free endpaper. Fresh Fields is a later edition, originally published in 1884. Winter Sunshine is a later edition, originally published in 1875. Far and Near is the first edition, with “Published October 1904” stated on copyright page. Solid text blocks, light rubbing to boards and corners of binding. A near fine set.
