Wilt Chamberlain (1936-1999) was a hall-of-fame NBA center known for scoring 100 points in a single game on March 2, 1962, a record that still stands. He won two NBA championships during his career, one with the Philadelphia 76ers in 1967 and another with the Los Angeles Lakers in 1972. Chamberlain was a four-time NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) and is the only player to have averaged over 50 points per game in a single season.
