Octavo, [four volumes]. All volumes in three quarter decorative morocco with marbled boards, titles in gilt on spines, raised bands with decorative gilt compartments, gilt illustration on the front cover of each volume. Top edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard. Light sunning to spines, faint wear from handling. All four volumes are later printings of the New Edition, first published in August 1935 by E.P. Dutton. Bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, stamped on verso of front free endpaper. Housed in custom green cloth slipcase, worn edges, shelf wear on all panels, solid seams. An attractive set.
