Signed by the author on the half-title.

The Autobiography of Eleanor Roosevelt serves as the conclusion to the narrative previously told through This is My Story (1937), This I Remember (1949), and On My Own (1958). Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962) redefined the role of the First Lady, traveling with her husband, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, to meet world leaders and support civil rights movements. After FDR’s passing in 1945, she continued her public service as a United Nations delegate, chairman of the Commission on Human Rights, and a Democratic Party activist. This book contains passages from her three previous works, as well as new material on her second visit to Russia and the Democratic Convention of 1960. A beautiful copy with a very rare signature, since the book was published just one year before her passing in 1962.
