Octavo, xi, 244pp. Full green cloth, title gilt on spine. No additional printings listed on copyright page. Solid text block, sunned spine, touch of rubbing to cloth, offsetting to endpapers. Foxing to fore edge and a few leaves throughout. In the publisher’s dust jacket, light sunning to spine, chipped corners, a very good example. Thin archival tissue repair to verso of jacket, reinforcing split along front hinge. Complete with six full-page color plates by Edmund Dulac, including frontispiece. A nice example from the Sisters Brontë series.
