Comments: A comprehensive history of the State of Michigan, including contemporary reports on fish populations. The author, John Lanman, was the son of James Lanman, a cousin of both Presidents John Adams and President John Quincy Adams. Lanman wrote this book while visiting his brother in Michigan.
