Frontispiece portraits with tissue covers. Period ownership inscription on the front free endpaper of both volumes, dated 1894. Closed tear through one leaf in volume II, no impact to text. A complete set, illustrated with 43 maps and fold-out facsimile documents. Solid text blocks, free of any marks or notations.
