From the private collection of Melody Miller (1945-2022) a longtime aide to the Kennedy family, serving in various capacities for over four decades. She began working for Senator Robert F. Kennedy in 1967 and later joined Senator Edward M. Kennedy’s staff, where she remained until her retirement in 2005. Miller played a key role in communications, speech-writing, and managing the family’s public image. She was deeply involved in handling correspondence with the public, particularly regarding the legacy of President John F. Kennedy. After retiring, she continued to support Kennedy-related initiatives and historical preservation efforts. She passed away in 2022 at the age of 77.
